The Civic Club of Harrisburg, the City of Harrisburg's Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) are pleased to provide this 2nd annual fishing event. Although Italian Lake does not allow fishing at any other time of the year, the City of Harrisburg will allow fishing from 10AM to Noon on Saturday, October 22, 2022, to everyone who has pre-registered for the program, completed the in-person registration from 9-9:30AM, AND participated in the PFBC's educational program at the Bandshell from 9:30-10:00AM. The fishing license requirement will also be waived by the PFBC for adults, 16 years of age and older, who have completed the registration process and attended the educational component. Youth under the age of 16 are not required to have a license. While this is a joint offering from all three organizations, registrations will only be taken by the PFBC.
